can i claim repairs and renovations on my first residential property in New South Wales Australia?
we have just bought a house in albury new south wales and will be moving in around october 2007.
can we claim on any work done on the property now? we have received the First HOme Owners Grant.
does this affect us renting the property up until we move in?
if we rent it out what can we claim?
You would need to show that these renovations were necessary before renting out, or carried while not your place of principal residence.
